#VERIFY WINDOWS 7 ISO MD5 VERIFICATION#
Simple, secure, fast and easy verification of files. See sBeDs's excellent answer for details. Download this app from Microsoft Store for Windows 10, Windows 8.1. Verify file hashes using MD5, CRC32, SHA1, SHA256, SHA384 and SHA512. Note that all recent versions of Windows do include a utility, certutil, that can be used for this purpose. I have used it successfully on Windows 7, 8, and 8.1. The screenshot looks like Windows XP but the WinMD5Sum utility works on current versions of Windows as well.
CPU: Intel i5-2550K, Differing 4.4-4.8GHz No built in GPU. System Manufacturer/Model Number: Home Built Desktop By DataTech.

WinMD5Sum (by Nullriver Software) is one such utility. I have an ISO for Windows 7 Pro 圆4 but I'm not sure if it's legitimate. After using Windows 8.1 for some weeks I thought about a GUI app to verify checksum, a Windows Store (Metro UI) app. If you're using a very old version of Windows, or just prefer to use a GUI tool, then you can download a utility online to verify the md5 hash of your downloaded Ubuntu ISO image. As the MD5SUM on Windows section of the HowToMD5SUM help wiki article says, it used to be that no md5sum-checking utility was included in Windows.
